Wedding video deliverables checklist

A wedding film package can include more than the full edit. Use this checklist to agree on additional deliverables with your clients before you begin, and include only what suits their brief.

The six deliverables

1· The full edited film

The agreed cut, delivered in a format the couple can actually play and archive. This is the anchor everything else points back to.

2· A highlight teaser

60 to 90 seconds, ready within days of the wedding while the emotion is fresh. It doubles as your marketing reel for the next booking season.

3· Vertical social cuts

Captioned 9:16 pieces sized for Instagram and TikTok. Couples post these before they ever sit through the full film.

4· Curated video stills

An optional collection of moments from the film. Review frames for sharpness, motion blur and composition before including them in the client package.

5· A share link or self-hosted folder

One place for the couple to grab everything. Self-hosted folders keep you off third-party galleries and their upload queues.

6· The archive master and a manifest

A named master file plus a manifest with source timestamps, so you or a future editor can retrace any moment years later.

Curating moments from the film

Video stills can complement the wedding film as a collection of moments to share with family. They are not a replacement for wedding photography. Quality depends on the master.

Review the footage for useful frames, then crop, name and package your selections for delivery. Resolution alone does not guarantee a usable still: motion blur, focus, lighting and compression all affect the result. Curate the frames rather than treating every moment as a photograph.

Where ShotBatch fits

ShotBatch runs that stills pass locally on your Mac. Drop the finished master in, approve the candidates from the review pass, and export a white-label pack: named source-resolution stills, social crops, contact sheets, print-ready PDFs, and a self-hosted share folder with a passcode option. Wedding filmmakers get Wedding Gallery in the same app. It is a mode, not a separate product, and every other project type runs on the same workflow.

Lite is $39.99 for one master with unlimited re-export. Pro is $129.99 for unlimited projects plus studio upscale. Direct has a 14-day trial with purchases through Paddle. The App Store edition has no trial. Without a license, ShotBatch is preview only and cannot make a usable export.
